Tessago

Tessago is a family-run textile company founded in Como in 2007. For over thirty years Tessago is leader in the creation, production and distribution of women’s and male textile accessories built on a rooted heritage handed down from generation to generation. Daniela Guarisco and Fabio Agostinelli, linked together by a long partnership lasting over thirty years, manage a young staff of professionals who contribute with passion and determination to the success of the company, which aim to catch up with new trends and develop fresh collections in collaboration with the most important and prestigious brands in the international scenario.

Thanks to deep rooted know-how in collaboration with the best production units spread out across Como District, we produce fine products that contribute to boost the Made In Italy label across the world.

History of Silk

The historical origins of silk processing in Como date back to the sixteenth century, but it is above all with the industrialization in the second half of the nineteenth centuries in Lombardy that the Larian City conquers the European leadership of the production and export of the Precious fabrics. Como, the World capital of silk. A community of entrepreneurs, artists, skilled workers, designers, artisans. A widespread, authentic silky culture, proud of its know-how, its refinement, its ability to transmit skills and professionalism to the new generations. The reference point for all the most important fashion houses and leading cloth manufacturers.
